Executive Assistant to the Regional Head of the Middle East and North Africa

The position as Executive Assistant to the Regional Head of Middle East and North Africa at Nomura is a temporary position (8 months) providing administrative support to the Regional Head and corporate teams in Dubai. The role includes tasks such as telephone support, calendar management, travel planning, and general administrative duties.

Job description

Executive Assistant to the Regional Head of Middle East and North Africa, a temporary role (8 months) to support the Regional Head of MENA with additional coverage for corporate teams in the NIP Dubai office and NAM Dubai.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Telephone coverage for the Head of Middle East and North Africa, including extensive interaction with clients, colleagues, and senior members of the Nomura Group
  • Comprehensive calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Comprehensive travel arrangements – coordination of flights, tickets, visas, accommodation, and ground transportation
  • Expense accounting within Nomura guidelines
  • Administration of the expense reimbursement and account reconciliation process
  • Timely preparation of presentation materials for senior members of the MENA team for meetings/presentations, which may require collaboration with computer graphics and reprographics services
  • Project management – correspondence with client parties, creation and maintenance of working group lists, project files, and archiving
  • General administrative tasks for visiting Nomura employees
In addition, support will be provided to the NIP Dubai Corporate teams and NAM Dubai as required (including coverage for the GM Dubai team during holidays).
