Experienced Buyer (IT SW & HW)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced buyer (IT software and hardware) for the procurement and management of IT resources in Switzerland and the EMEA region. The buyer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing procurement and purchasing processes with the aim of reducing costs and monitoring supplier performance.
Tasks
The position of Experienced Buyer (IT SW & HW) involves the planning, coordination, management, and execution of moderately complex, medium-risk procurement and purchasing events, with a primary focus on IT software and hardware purchasing categories. This includes:- Category sourcing and procurement (primary focus on IT software and hardware)
- Support in monitoring supplier performance and contract correction
- Conducting analyses and reports on expenditures and other aspects
- Support for the continuous improvement of activities and projects
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Completed commercial diploma or degree in (technical) business administration, preferably in procurement/supply chain management
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, and contract management roles, with practical experience in commercial and contractual negotiations and ordering processes in IT software and hardware expenditure categories
- Experience in supplier relationship management and in the execution of procurement categories
- Demonstrable history of exemplary values and behaviors, including integrity, respect, diligence, and fairness
- Team player with an open, hands-on, and solution-oriented attitude
