Expert in property damage, civil liability, and construction (m/f/x)

Tasks

The various tasks that await you:

• Manage all property damage claims relating to property, liability, and construction insurance within the scope of your responsibilities and in accordance with applicable guidelines and instructions.
• Implement technical expertise and collaborate with other specialists (internal and external)
• Negotiate settlements and amicable transactions relating to property damage and business interruption with insurers, injured parties, lawyers, and other insurers.
• Take charge of specific assignments entrusted to you by the legal department & complex cases in the P&C branches that fall within your area of expertise, carrying out local investigations.
• Establish and maintain a network of experts and companies operating in your geographical area.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer by providing technical support and participating in the continuing education of experts and internal service staff.
• Contribute to the profitability of the P&C portfolio by actively collaborating with our underwriting departments and by raising awareness among our sales network.

Requirements

What makes you unique:

• CFC in business administration or equivalent, training as a private insurance specialist with federal certificate or equivalent, legal training a plus
• Several years of professional experience in managing complex property claims (property, liability, and construction). Experience in personal injury claims would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, stress resistance, empathy, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines, writing skills
• Maîtrise des outils informatiques usuels (MS Office)
• Native French speaker, good knowledge of English or German an asset
