Payment Transactions Specialist and Assistant Team Leader

Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a payments specialist who will also serve as the team leader’s deputy and is expected to succeed him or her in the long term. The position requires several years of professional experience in a comparable role at a bank in Switzerland and a very good understanding of regulatory requirements in the payments sector.

What can you expect?

* You will manage the operational activities related to Swiss and international payment transactions, particularly in the areas of investigations, account refunds, and anti-money laundering (AML) in collaboration with our Compliance Department. * You will ensure the smooth and reliable execution of operational processes in these areas. * You will enhance the customer experience through simplified and digitized processes. * You will actively participate in managing projects related to payment transactions. * You will ensure that our services meet high-quality standards while optimizing costs and profitability. * You will serve as the team leader’s deputy and, in the future, succeed them in the role.

What do you bring with you?

* Several years of solid professional experience in a comparable role at a bank in Switzerland. * You have a very good understanding of regulatory requirements in payment transactions as well as the relevant technical fields. * You are proficient in standard Office applications (MS Office) as well as specific systems and applications. * You are an independent, reliable individual with a strong team spirit, a high commitment to quality, and a strong sense of punctuality. * You have excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational and prioritization skills. * You are able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Your native language is French or German; you have very good knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of English is a plus.
