Oracle Exadata expert
Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is looking for an Oracle Exadata expert to take over the administration of Oracle Exadata appliances and perform maintenance on Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle databases, Oracle Linux, and shell scripting, as well as at least 10 years of experience as an Oracle expert in a large company.

Seeking an Oracle Exadata expert to participate in the administration of Oracle Exadata appliances and perform maintenance on Oracle databases.Tasks
- Administration of Oracle Exadata appliances
- Maintenance of Oracle databases (corrective, preventive, and evolutionary)
- Collaboration on operations with other database technologies, ensuring data integrity and efficient handling of incidents
- Collaboration on application integration through automation and industrialization of database activities
- Promoting knowledge sharing, mentoring junior DBAs, and fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Participation in the on-call service
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases, Data Guard, RAC, Goldengate
- Very good knowledge of Oracle Linux and/or Oracle Exadata appliances
- Good knowledge of Linux shell scripts, Ansible, and Vault
- ITIL and/or Oracle certifications are an advantage
Your profile
- Higher education (master's degree or equivalent)
- 10 years of experience as an Oracle expert in the context of large enterprises
- Interest in the DBA Oracle role in the context of large enterprises
- Perfect command of French, English at B2 level minimum
- Interest in teamwork
- Analytical, synthetic thinking and sense of responsibility
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to move to Switzerland
