Oracle Exadata expert

Tasks

- Participate in the administration of Oracle Exadata appliances, - Perform corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance of Oracle databases, - Contribute to operations on other database technologies, while ensuring data integrity and effective incident handling, - Contribute to the continuous integration processes of our applications by automating and industrializing eligible activities on databases, - Promote knowledge sharing, mentor junior DBAs, and encourage a culture of continuous learning, - Participate in on-call duty.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases, Data Guard, RAC, Goldengate,
• Very good knowledge of Oracle Linux and Oracle Exadata appliances
• Good knowledge of Linux shell scripts, Ansible, and Vault.
• ITIL and/or Oracle certification will be a differentiator.

Your profile

• Higher education (master's degree or equivalent),
• 10 years as an Oracle expert in the context of major accounts,
• Interest in proposing ideas for continuous improvement and automation of operations,
• Complete mastery of French, minimum B2 level English,
• Interest in teamwork,
• Analytical and synthesis skills, sense of responsibility,
• Resident of Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland.
