Compliance Assurance Specialist

Job description

• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external compliance requirements by supporting the operational units in risk monitoring and mitigation, performing risk-based 2nd line controls and developing compliance measures.
• As a specialist, you will analyze compliance-relevant topics as part of reviews and independently initiate targeted measures.
• You will support the further development of the internal control system (ICS) with regard to compliance requirements, monitor its effectiveness and actively identify potential for improvement.
• You monitor sanction procedures and systematically identify anomalies in the monitoring of customer, third party and transactions.

Requirements

• You have 5-7 years of experience in a comparable position in compliance assurance in the financial services industry, ideally in the credit card business.
• You have knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements in the area of international sanctions (SECO, OFAC, EU sanctions, UN sanctions, etc.).
• You have completed a CAS or DAS in Compliance Management and/or a degree in economics or law at a college/university in Switzerland.
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
• You communicate in writing and style in German and English (orally and in writing); other language skills are a plus.
