What you can expect

• Sustainability is a central component of Aargauische Kantonalbank. We regularly draw up sustainability reports and strategies for our employees and are committed to a strong economy in the long term.
• Are you our new colleague who will contribute to our sustainability responsibility with your previous experience of sustainability responsibility?
• You understand AKB's non-financial reporting (Sustainability Report according to GRI Standards 2021, Climate Report 2022) and are familiar with the basics.
• You continuously develop the reports and adapt them to new regulatory requirements.
• You analyze trends, methods and regulatory requirements in the area of sustainability and support the finance department.
• You understand the connections between the subject areas of sustainable development and implement targeted measures in consultation with the specialist departments.
• You are also happy to work together with the specialist departments on the further development and optimization of the "Sustainability Toolbox" - let's achieve more together!
• In cooperation with the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for the preparation and follow-up of ESG reporting (GRI 2005)
• You support the communication of sustainability services to customers and employees.
• You are actively involved in various committees and projects (sustainability meeting, daycare support program, etc.).

What you bring with you

• The AKB is the right place for you if you identify professionally with the topics of sustainability and environmental protection.
• You have a university degree in one of the subjects of communication and/or sustainability management/communication.
• Experience in the financial sector desirable or advantageous.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills; you are willing to engage internally and externally with different stakeholders.
• You are motivated, proactive, team- and solution-oriented.
• You are networked with the sustainability ecosystem and have the relevant contacts.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English language skills.

How to make your mark

• You are already in the canton of Aargau, directly at our train station.
• You have a valid sustainability and/or communications education (or are close to it).
• You already have practical experience in the field of sustainability - welcome!
