Job description

What you can expect

• successor to the previous cantonal councillor:
• We prepare regular sustainability reports and programs for our employees and publish them online.
• You are responsible for AKB's non-financial reporting (Sustainability Report according to GRI Standards 2021, Climate Report 2021) and develop it further.
• You are the first point of contact for regulatory requirements in the area of sustainability and implement targeted measures in consultation with the specialist departments.
• You are strategically involved in the annual meeting with the sustainability departments (stewardship event) and in the topic of sustainability.
• In cooperation with the Head of Internal Audit, you will develop the controlling reporting system in the area of ESG 2025.
• You are actively involved in various committees and projects (sustainability committee, climate or funding programs, etc.).

What you bring with you

• Application

• You have a university degree in one of the topics of communication and sustainability/environment and have already gained some experience, e.g. through a relevant subject or your previous work in the field of sustainability/environment/climate/communication/journalism.
• Experience in the financial environment desirable but not a requirement
• You have excellent communication and cooperation skills as well as an open and appreciative culture of discussion and communication with internal and external exchange partners.
• You are flexible, open to new ideas and enjoy tackling new topics.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office and a good command of written and spoken German and English.
