Payment specialist
As a payment transaction specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will support the team in payment transaction activities and have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas. Your tasks will include clarifying payment transactions, processing payments and advising internal departments and clients.
Your role
As a payment specialist at the bank, you will support our team in a wide range of activities and have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas of responsibility.Your tasks
- Clarification of payment transactions with internal departments and domestic and foreign banks
- Processing of incoming and outgoing payments from our international clientele
- Processing of check collections as well as credit cards and Maestro cards
- Advising internal departments and our customer advisors in Switzerland at all our international locations in the area of payments, checks and cards
- Willingness for occasional assignments on public holidays (1 to 2 x per year) in rotation with other team colleagues
- Deputy assignments at the Basel cash desk, alternating with other team colleagues
Your profile
- Completed commercial training (or similar)
- Sound industry knowledge in the area of payment transactions
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage
- Speditieve and structured way of working as well as high customer orientation
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team and with various stakeholders
- Quick comprehension and ability to recognize connections
- High sense of quality and responsibility as well as great willingness to learn and motivation
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
