Facility and Maintenance Specialist
The Facility and Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and logistics of facilities at Syz Group's Swiss offices in Geneva, Zurich, Lugano and Locarno. The position includes tasks such as repairs, optimizing operations and supporting health, safety and physical security initiatives.

Facility and Maintenance SpecialistYour tasks
- Facility Maintenance & Repairs: Ensure buildings are in excellent condition by carrying out routine repairs such as painting, plumbing, repairing minor electrical issues and general maintenance of installations. Travel to other building locations may be required to ensure other assets/facilities are in good condition. Maintenance work will be coordinated with the Facilities and Physical Security Manager to identify, coordinate and execute major repairs requiring specialized contractors. Ensure basic equipment and supplies needed for general repairs and renovations during the day are stocked. Occasional weekend cleaning tasks, such as using a pressure washer around the building and periodic cleaning of carpets with a machine. Ensure that all risks related to the level and duration of outdoor activities are analyzed to ensure efficient execution and minimize disruption to daily operations. Contribute and participate in technical installations of premises (security, fire, heat, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, etc.)
- Physical Security: Perform tasks related to building security in collaboration with the Physical Security Manager. Availability for on-call duties during nights and weekends when required (one week/month) and responding to施設 or security related issues when required. Carry out inspections to ensure that the physical security of all premises is carried out accurately and thoroughly by external security providers. Performing the role of fire safety officer, evacuation officer and emergency responder when required
Your profile
- Experience in building maintenance, hotel facility maintenance or a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of engineering, electrical engineering, painting and other repair and technical maintenance work (electrical background an advantage)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving office equipment and standing or walking comfortably for long periods of time
- Ability to work at all Syz Bank locations or support our standard working hours, even on short notice
- Experience in working with electricians for major repairs and maintenance projects
