Bank Syz is looking for a Facility and Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for the logistics and maintenance of buildings in various Swiss branches. The candidate will ensure that the offices are safe, secure and fully functional.

Facility and Maintenance Specialist

Your tasks

  • Facility Maintenance & Repairs: Ensure buildings are in excellent condition by carrying out routine repairs such as painting, plumbing, minor electrical work and general maintenance of installations. Travel to other building locations to ensure other assets and sites are in good condition. Together with the Facility and Physical Security Manager, identify, coordinate and execute major repairs and/or renovations of technical installations.
  • Cleaning Oversight & Hygiene Management: Ensuring the general cleanliness of certain premises throughout the day, ensuring surfaces are stocked with supplies. Performing occasional deep cleaning tasks, such as using a pressure washer around the building and periodically cleaning carpets with a machine. Ensure that risks of damage to outdoor equipment and installations are minimized.

Your profile

  • Experience in building maintenance, hotel facility maintenance or a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical, technical, painting and other repair and maintenance work (e.g. plumbing, heating and elevators)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving office equipment and standing or walking comfortably for long periods of time
  • Willingness to travel to other Bank Syz locations or provide support outside of standard working hours, even at short notice
  • Experience in working with electrical contractors for major repairs and maintenance projects

Further requirements

  • Valid driver's license (category B minimum)

IT skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of technical training is a plus (e.g. physical access management, fire extinguishing systems, building air conditioning systems, etc.)
