Facility and Maintenance Specialist

Tasks

As a Facility and Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Facility Maintenance & Repairs: Ensure that buildings are in excellent condition by performing routine "do-it-yourself" repairs such as painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, and general maintenance at our locations in Switzerland.
• Cleaning, Decontamination & Integrated Management: Ensure the cleanliness of variable workspaces during office hours in a four-week cycle.
• Physical Security Support: Perform tasks related to building security in collaboration with the Facility and Physical Security Manager.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Experience in maintenance, hotel facility maintenance, or similar areas
• Experience in plumbing, electrical engineering, painting, and other repair and maintenance work (state diploma or equivalent)
• Experience in the field of physical security (e.g., surveillance cameras, access control systems, fire alarm systems, etc.)

• Problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Open-mindedness with basic knowledge of security protocols and willingness to support physical security measures

Additional requirements:

• English and/or German are an advantage
• Valid driver's license (category B minimum)

IT skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of digitization tools is a plus (e.g., physical access management, fire systems, building/HVAC systems, etc.)

Education:

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, maintenance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
