Tasks

• Physical Security:
• Responsible for the management of physical access under the direction of the CISO
• Management of 24/7 security patrols for the physical security of all branches by the external security service provider
• Ensuring support outside office hours as needed and performing on-call rotations for the Security Operations Center on-call team
• Efficiently manage the overall health, safety and physical security budget for Syz facilities, Security Operations Center locations or to provide standard hourly support, even when requested at short notice
• Management of real estate and associated insurance, plans and service contracts
• Coordination of safety and maintenance management system activities in line with the Group's safety framework
• Coordinate regular safety risk assessments, audits and support to ensure compliance with Group and local regulations
• Tracking the security-related budget and setting up corresponding KPIs

• Facility Management:
• Ensure that the facility is fully operational, with all utilities functioning properly and commitment to maintaining the facilities in excellent condition to ensure a quality hospitality experience (e.g. clean and tidy appearance and ensuring that the maintenance and building management system is well specified)
• Planning and monitoring of maintenance and repair work and assessment by checking the installation and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (safety, fire, heat, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, etc.)
• In conjunction with the Facilities Manager, regularly assess and review existing contracts to ensure costs are maintained at their most accurate level whilst quality is maintained
• Monitoring and coordinating the cleaning of the branches with the various cleaning partners
• Participation in active maintenance and processing of inquiries as required
• In the absence of the maintenance specialist, carry out basic repairs and maintenance work, if possible
• Allocate office space according to headcount and capacity needs (leasing plan, relocations, new allocations, etc.) and oversee construction, innovation and relocation projects

Requirements

• Professional experience and skills:
• Proven experience as a facility manager in a bank, industry or medium to large company
• Experience as a health and safety officer or in a similar position
• Experience as a physical security officer or in a similar position
• Familiarity with technical/engineering operations and best practices in facility management
• Good knowledge of local health and safety laws and regulations
• Experience in technical maintenance and renovation or strong DIY skills are an advantage

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand or walk for long periods of time
