FCC, Compliance Control Officer

Your challenge

The position as FCC, Compliance Control Officer includes the following tasks:

• Supporting the Regional Head FCC in complying with local regulations and internal guidelines, procedures, and instructions
• Supporting the Regional Head FCC in dealing with regulatory issues, trends, and combating new risks
• Supporting the Regional Head FCC in implementing the Head Office Monitoring Program (2LoD) in accordance with globally defined standards
• Maintaining close working relationships with key stakeholders at head office and other locations (particularly Hong Kong) to ensure a consistent control framework and alignment of testing steps/methods
• Maintaining good relationships with auditors, MAS/law enforcement agencies, and key stakeholders to stay informed about regulatory developments
• Support in the introduction of the bank's risk culture initiatives and HR's disciplinary and escalation framework
• Development, implementation, and execution of compliance 2LoD controls, particularly in the area of combating financial crime, within the specified deadlines, including proper documentation and timely escalation of results to management
• Participation in the Compliance Strategic Roadmaps project and coordination of the completion of various head office initiatives
• Development, quality assurance, and testing framework, including but not limited to annual quality assurance and testing plans, risk assessment, test QA scripts, procedures, and sampling methods that take into account regulatory expectations and industry developments
• Preparation and review of reports on causes and systemic outcomes
• Support with validation and tracking (pending) degrees
• Conducting investigations and coordinating escalation to the disciplinary committee in accordance with the HR framework
• Support with ad hoc processing of compliance and regulatory inspections and reporting (internal and external)
• Supporting the Regional Head FCC and contributing to compliance training programs for employees (if applicable)

Your profile

The position of FCC, Compliance Control Officer requires the following skills and requirements:

• A completed degree with more than 3 years of experience in compliance testing/quality assurance or auditing, preferably in the field of financial crime prevention
• Good knowledge of the regulatory environment and risk management
