FCC, Compliance Control Officer

About the job

The position of FCC, Compliance Control Officer, is part of the Compliance Department and supports senior management in ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations in order to actively manage operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Supporting the Regional Head FCC in complying with local regulations and internal guidelines
• Assisting the Regional Head of FCC in addressing regulatory issues, trends, and emerging risks
• Assisting the Regional Head of FCC in implementing the Head Office's 2LoD monitoring program
• Development, testing, and implementation of Compliance 2LoD controls, particularly in the area of combating financial crime
• Participation in compliance strategy roadmap projects and coordination of the completion of head office initiatives
• Support with validating and tracking results
• Conducting investigations and coordinating referrals to the disciplinary committee

Requirements

The requirements include:

• A strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and good judgment
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The courage to address risks and escalate issues
• Be proactive, take the initiative, and propose solutions to problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A college degree with more than 3 years of experience in compliance testing/quality assurance or auditing, preferably in the field of financial crime prevention
• Good knowledge of the regulatory environment and risk management
