FIG Analyst- Structure Sale of Loan Portfolios and Financing with Asset Back Securities (Mexico City)

Tasks

• Support in the execution of active mandates:
  • Preparation of marketing materials
  • Collection of information for the creation of reliable data tapes
  • Analysis of the risk assessment information contained in these tapes
  • Valuation analysis of the portfolios
  • Performing sensitivity analyses on portfolio data
  • Management of complex databases (with SQL or other database software)
  • Management of data rooms for potential investors
• Marketing initiatives:
  • Market analyses of various FIG industry verticals
  • Preparation of market, strategic and industry peer analyses in the FIG industry
  • Detailed analysis of financial data from banks and financial institutions
  • Screening of potential FIG targets/buyers
  • Preparation of detailed valuations

Requirements

• Experience working with user services to manage underperforming portfolios
• Previous experience in financial institutions is highly valued and required to be considered a strong candidate
• Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of financial reporting for financial institutions and local/international capital markets
• Highly resource-efficient in the procurement of market information across all available platforms
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously
• Familiarity with the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Canva and database management systems
• Ability to work under pressure and in a context of changing priorities
• Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
• Attention to detail and ability to create accurate, independent documents
• 100% language proficiency (both written and oral) in English and Spanish
• Excellent business presence in terms of formal business attire
• Flexibility for one day per week to work from home, subject to existing workload
