FIG Analyst- Structure Sale of Loan Portfolios and Financing with Asset Back Securities (Mexico City)Overview
- Credit Portfolio: Leading advisor on the disposal of non-performing debt and performing loans to reduce exposure to certain sectors by banks and non-bank financial institutions - Structuring asset-backed securities ("ABS"). Structuring of loans secured by portfolios of performing and non-performing loans. This includes the structuring of unsecured loans and ultimately secured loans through real estate proposed by lenders.Tasks
- Support in the execution of active mandates: preparation of marketing materials, collection of information to create reliable data tapes, analysis of the information contained in these tapes for risk assessment, valuation analysis of portfolios, performing sensitivity analysis of portfolio data, management of highly complex databases (using SQL or other database software), data room management for potential investors, etc.
- Marketing initiatives: Market analysis of various FIG industry verticals, preparation of market, strategic and industry peer analysis in the FIG industry, detailed analysis of financial data from banks and financial institutions, screening of potential FIG targets/buyers, preparation of detailed valuations, etc.
Requirements
- Previous experience in financial institutions is highly valued and required to be considered as a strong candidate.
- Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of financial reporting for financial institutions and local/international capital markets.
- Highly resource-efficient in the procurement of market information across all available platforms.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously.
- Familiarity with the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Canva and any database management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a context of changing priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Attention to detail and ability to prepare concise, summarized, self-contained documents.
- 100% language proficiency (both written and oral) in English and Spanish is an important requirement.
- Excellent business presence in terms of formal business attire.
- Flexibility for one day per week to work from home, subject to existing workload.
