FIG Analyst - Structuring of loan portfolios and financing with asset-backed securities (Mexico City)

Tasks

* Support in the execution of active mandates:

• Preparation of marketing materials
• Collecting information to create reliable data tapes
• Analysis of the risk assessment information contained in these tapes
• Valuation analysis of the portfolios
• Performing sensitivity analyses on portfolio data
• Management of complex databases (with SQL or other database software)
• Management of data rooms for potential investors

* Marketing initiatives:

• Market analyses of various FIG industry verticals
• Preparation of market, strategic and industry peer analyses in the FIG sector
• Detailed analysis of financial data from banks and financial institutions
• Screening of potential FIG targets/buyers
• Preparation of detailed valuations

Requirements

* Experience working with services mandated by investors to manage unsecured portfolios * Experience in financial institutions is highly valued and required to be considered a strong candidate * Excellent financial knowledge and understanding of financial reporting for financial institutions as well as local/international capital markets * High level ability to source market information across all available platforms * Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously * Proficiency in the use of:

• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Word
• Outlook
• Canva
• Database management systems

* Ability to work under pressure and in a context of changing priorities * Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) * Attention to detail and ability to produce concise and summarized documents * 100% proficiency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish * Excellent business presence in terms of formal business attire * Flexibility for one day per week to work from home, subject to existing workload
