Alantra is seeking a FIG M&A Associate to join its team in London to assist in the execution of M&A mandates and marketing initiatives in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in M&A and 3 years' experience in the FIG sector.

Overview
- Location: London, UK
- Working hours: Full-time
Tasks
- Support in the execution of active M&A mandates:
- Preparation of marketing materials
- Modeling and valuation analysis
- Management of data rooms
- M&A marketing initiatives:
- Market analyses of various sectors
- Preparation of market, strategic and industry analyses
- Screening of potential M&A targets/buyers
- Financial valuations
- Direct exposure to all hierarchy levels internally as well as direct customer contact where possible
Requirements
- 3-5 years of M&A experience in an investment bank, boutique or Big4 firm
- At least 3 years of experience in the FIG sector (financial institutions and service providers)
- Experience in some (not necessarily all) of the following sub-sectors:
- Banks
- Lending
- Special financing
- Wealth/asset management
- Insurance broker
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
