FIG M&A Associate
Alantra is seeking a FIG M&A Associate to join its team in London to assist in the execution of M&A mandates and marketing initiatives in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in M&A and 3 years' experience in the FIG sector.
Job description: FIG M&A Associate
Tasks
- Support in the execution of active M&A mandates: preparation of marketing materials, modeling and valuation analysis, data room management, etc.
- M&A marketing initiatives: Market analysis of various industry verticals, preparation of market, strategic and industry peer analysis, screening of potential M&A targets/buyers, financial valuations, etc.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of M&A experience in an investment bank, boutique or Big4 firm
- At least 3 years of recent experience in the FIG-specific sector is required
- Experience in some (not necessarily all) of the following sub-sectors - banking, lending, specialized finance, wealth/asset management and insurance broking
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
