Finance and Controlling Consultant in Banking
Clientis AG is seeking a Finance and Controlling Consultant in the banking sector who, as part of the Risk & Controlling team, will support the financial management of regional banks and prepare high-quality management reports. The ideal candidate holds a college degree in finance and has extensive banking experience.
Your area of responsibility
As a member of our Risk & Controlling team, you will contribute to the financial management of the legally independent regional banks within the Clientis Group. Internally, you will work closely with departments such as ALM, Risk Management, and Accounting, and actively help shape the implementation of new requirements. In doing so, you will maintain professional communication with outsourcing partners, the Swiss Bankers Association, and internal and external auditors. Your responsibilities include:- You are responsible for preparing periodic reports, key performance indicators, and commentary in a timely manner.
- You will produce high-quality management reports, including supporting management in evaluating strategic options.
- You will prepare calculations for capital planning, including stress scenarios.
- You will continue to develop reporting systems and their implementation in response to evolving management needs and new technological possibilities (including AI).
What you bring with you
For this position, we require:- A college degree in finance (from a university or university of applied sciences) or equivalent, with extensive banking experience.
- the ability to analyze complex requirements in a structured manner and translate them into practical solutions. In doing so, you will utilize familiar BI tools such as QLIK, your database skills, and your knowledge of SQL or ETL, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of the Finova banking system.
- Interest in conceptual work as well as in the practical implementation of regulatory and internal requirements.
- the ability to work independently, responsibly, and with integrity, as well as a team-oriented approach and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Fluency in German. Good knowledge of French and English is a plus.
