Job Summary
As the Local Finance & Operations Manager based in Vaduz, you will be responsible for overseeing critical Finance and COO/Front activities, including regulatory reporting, financial reporting, tax finance, and corporate services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of key reports and statements, while supporting the operational efficiency of the Liechtenstein Office. The Local Office will report directly to the CFO/COO of EFG Bank von Ernst.Main Tasks
- Regulatory and Financial Reporting:
- Oversee and validate all regulatory reports prepared by Group Finance and Group Risk, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Prepare and submit regulatory and ad hoc reports to EAS Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein Office of Statistics, and other external stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management reports and annual reports by Group Finance, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Tax & Corporate Services:
- Oversee and control quarterly VAT statements and annual tax statements prepared by Group Tax, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Liaise with external insurance brokers regarding insurance matters (e.g., accident notifications, child allowance payments).
- Oversee and control monthly salaries prepared by external payroll agents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Regulatory Engagement:
- Complete and submit recurring regulatory reports to the Financial Market Authority (FMA), including compliance, payments, correspondent banking, remuneration, and diversity reports.
- Participate in Liechtenstein Banking Association working groups to stay current with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Financial Operations:
- Support the preparation and supervision of the entity's budget and budgets for all functions.
- Record client-related special fees within two to three business days to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process Management:
- Manage a range of processes and systems to ensure efficient operation of the Liechtenstein Office.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional experience, ideally within a financial institution; experience with regulatory reporting is a strong advantage.
- Motivated, flexible, and well-organized, with a keen attention to detail and a flair for numbers.
- Strong team player with outstanding communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates high levels of confidentiality, discretion, and professional integrity.
