Financial Accountant - Banking Operations 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Financial Accountant for Banking Operations to support the existing accounting team in their day-to-day work and contribute to the stability and further development of accounting processes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in finance or business administration and has several years of professional experience in banking accounting.
Tasks
- Technical support during internal and external audits and for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking platforms
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
- Participation in the testing, implementation, and introduction of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
- Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
- Consistent adherence to internal control systems
Requirements
- Completed education in finance or business administration with additional qualifications in accounting (e.g., professional certificate in finance and accounting, bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or banking and finance)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is required.
- Experience with T24 or other core banking systems is an advantage.
