The Financial Accountant – Banking Operations supports the existing accounting team in their daily work and contributes to the stability and further development of accounting processes. The position is based in the Banking Operations department at Julius Baer in Zurich.
Job description
Tasks
- Provide technical support during internal and external audits, and for reconciliations between finance systems and core banking platforms
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
- Participate in the testing, implementation, and rollout of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
- Support in ensuring data quality and advancing internal controls. Analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes

- Consistent compliance with internal control systems
Requirements
- Completed financial or business administration education with further qualification in accounting (e.g., specialist certificate in finance and accounting, Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is essential.
- Experience with T24 or other core banking systems is advantageous.
