Financial Accountant - Banking Operations 100% (f/m/d)
As a Financial Accountant at Julius Baer, you will support the existing accounting team in its day-to-day business and contribute to the stability and further development of accounting processes. The position includes providing technical support for internal and external audits, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and participating in the implementation of new functions in SAP and core banking systems.
Tasks
- Technical support during internal and external audits and for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking platforms
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
- Participation in the testing, implementation, and introduction of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
- Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
- Consistent adherence to internal control systems
Your profile
- Completed training in finance or business administration with further qualifications in accounting (e.g., certificate in finance and accounting, bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or banking and finance)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is required.
- Experience with T24 or other core banking systems is an advantage.
