Financial Accountant - Banking Operations 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is looking for a Financial Accountant - Banking Operations to support the existing accounting team in their daily work and contribute to the stability and further development of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have completed training in finance or business administration and have several years of professional experience in bank accounting.
Tasks
- Technical support during internal and external audits and for reconciliation between financial systems and core banking platforms
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Group Tax, Management Accounting, IT Operations, and Payroll
- Participation in the testing, implementation, and introduction of new functionalities in SAP and core banking systems
- Support in ensuring data quality and further developing internal controls, analysis, specification, and optimization of existing processes
- Consistent adherence to internal control systems
Requirements
- Completed training in finance or business administration with further qualifications in accounting (e.g., certificate in finance and accounting, bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or banking and finance)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is required.
- Experience with T24 or other core banking systems is an advantage.
