Financial Accountant (m/f)

Tasks

- Active involvement in day-to-day operations - Assistance in preparing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements, including management reports and the annual report - Point of contact for internal and external parties regarding accounting matters - Assistance in preparing VAT and withholding tax returns and any necessary regulatory or legal adjustments - Conducting ICS controls of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual financial statements - Acting as a substitute in the areas of reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable - Active participation in projects (e.g., digitization, process optimization, implementation of new software) and maintenance of the finance and accounting modules in Finnova and Abacus

Requirements

• Completed basic commercial training and/or further training as an accounting clerk or equivalent training
• Professional experience in accounting and, ideally, knowledge of FINMA ReIV and FINMA RS 2020/1
• A strong aptitude for numbers, analytical skills, and good communication skills
• Interest in current developments in the field of accounting and the regulatory environment
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Abacus and Vorteil
