Job Title

• Financial Analyst, Performance & Initiative Manager 80–100% (f/m/d)

• Employment Duration: Full-time

Tasks

• Conduct and perform in-depth quantitative analyses (using the Management Information System) to identify the use of balance sheet products and define actionable measures to address them (e.g., to advance the respective products or policies)
• Assist HPC/HFM in better addressing any concerns raised by the Group, such as risk-related issues (e.g., hedging, limits, etc.)
• Lead and coordinate initiatives that drive improvements in front-office P&L and performance management—including execution, implementation, and rollout, along with reporting and progress tracking
• Prepare concise, insightful, and visually appealing presentations on various business topics (e.g., profitability initiatives, etc.) for the largest region within the bank's global business
• Serve as a sparring partner for the Front Office on finance-related topics, working directly with counterparts including senior HFM staff and key stakeholders across the bank (e.g., Accounting, Treasury, Middle and Back Office, etc.)
• Conduct business case assessments and market strategy reviews on a regular basis, including key topics for your division (e.g., KPI development, performance management)
• Enhance the performance management and reporting framework to enable tracking and optimization of relevant KPIs, as well as business case and strategy execution

Requirements

• Strong academic record: A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a comparable field of study with above-average grades
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a comparable finance or related role within our industry or in management consulting with a focus on banking
• Good knowledge and understanding of the private banking industry and global financial markets
• Excellent slide-writing skills, with the ability to create content tailored to specific target audiences
• Advanced Excel and data handling skills, combined with a passion for in-depth exploration of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders and manage their expectations
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, a quick thinker, and an outstanding team player
• Passion for finance and business in general, solid understanding of accounting issues (e.g., knowledge of balance sheet management (including the implications of interest rate risk), etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of the private banking business model, its drivers, and its revenue and cost structure
• Familiarity with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, or comparable accounting standards is an advantage
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
