Financial Crime Investigator
The Financial Crime Investigator is responsible for investigating suspicious account transactions and identifying control frameworks to combat financial crime. The Investigator works as part of a team to develop and implement effective solutions against financial crime.

Financial Crime InvestigatorTasks
- Strong background/knowledge in data analysis tools and techniques
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, regression modeling, data visualization and reporting
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries and aggregate functions for data extraction and analysis
- Proficiency in Python for data extraction, analysis and statistical modeling with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib
- Understanding online crime threats and mechanisms to effectively prevent fraud, such as online fraud typologies
- Experience in the investigation of financial crimes
- Multi-professional and able to work effectively in a team
- Strong behavioral interviewing skills and decision making
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and management systems
- Experience in fraud investigations, legal/regulatory compliance, SARs, financial crimes, typologies and financial markets
- Holders of professional financial, banking or related qualifications (e.g. ICA, CCEP or equivalent)
