Financing Quantitative Analyst

Your role

As a Financing Quantitative Analyst in our Zurich team, you will:

• Lead the development of models and analyses for the UBS Principal Securities Lending and Financing (SLF) business in Zurich, with management responsibility for a local team of quantitative researchers
• Deliver high-quality quantitative applications and workflows for SLF, in partnership with other quant and IT teams.
• Contribute to the development of innovative AI/ML solutions by the Financing Quant team for bidding on global lending markets and optimizing the customer base, with a strong focus on results-oriented outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with trading, quant, IT, and risk control partners in Zurich and other regions.

Your expertise

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative research environment
• Profound knowledge of Python for the development and implementation of complex models and workflows
• strong knowledge of financial mathematics
• extensive experience in large-scale development
• Academic background in mathematics or a similar STEM subject

Preferential:

• professional experience in trading
• Knowledge of additional programming languages
• professional experience with Azure
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML theory
• postgraduate academic studies in mathematics or a similar STEM subject
