Corporate client advisor

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking a corporate client advisor to support and advise corporate clients from various industries and of all sizes, as well as to propose tailored solutions for financing and other banking services. The position requires a higher-level business education, several years of experience in corporate banking, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Tasks

- You will support and advise corporate clients from various industries and of different sizes (ranging from sole proprietorships to large corporate clients). - In doing so, you will analyze and evaluate their financing requests, such as for real estate projects, investments, working capital financing, or succession financing. - This also includes proposing customized solutions across the full range of corporate banking services, such as foreign exchange, guarantees, liquidity management, and leasing. - You will independently handle the various administrative tasks related to your portfolio and ensure both the quality and prompt processing of files. - Your goal is to identify and maximize the potential of existing and prospective clients and to build trusting, client-focused relationships with them—including through participation in the bank’s events. - You stay informed about changes to guidelines and expand your knowledge of the services and products available to this type of client.

Requirements

- You have a higher-level business education and excellent interpersonal skills. - You have several years of experience in a similar position in corporate banking, particularly in corporate finance. - You are dynamic and pragmatic, have a strong sense of initiative, and value teamwork. - You have a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and negotiation skills. - You are proficient with IT tools, possess strong analytical skills, and your language skills are a plus. - Finally, you can set the right priorities and work independently to ensure proactive client support.
