Fixed Income Credit Trader - Emerging Markets

Your role

As a Fixed Income Credit Trader - Emerging Markets at our bank, you will be an ambitious individual with a proven track record of generating P&L in emerging markets credit trading, looking to contribute to the bank's success and provide firm and reliable liquidity to the bank's institutional and retail client network. We are looking for an experienced credit trader with a strong vision and strategy on how to optimize bank flows. The ideal candidate will share our values of strong client focus, commitment and entrepreneurial spirit.

Your tasks

• Contribution to P&L in the FI bond value chain
• Provision of liquidity for other banks and for the Bank's client base with a flow-driven trading approach
• Active monitoring and management of risks in the trading book
• Close cooperation with the bank's sales and advisory teams as well as with core clients
• Close monitoring of market developments and rapid response to changes
• Proactive generation and implementation of trading ideas and discussion with internal stakeholders as well as with clients of the bank
• Contribution to the expansion of the Bank's customer base in core regions in Europe and Asia
• Compliance with all relevant rules and regulations as well as internal guidelines/instructions and up-to-date information on all relevant regulatory developments in the trading area

Your profile

• Master's degree in economics or finance or a comparable education
• 5-10 years of hands-on credit trading experience in emerging markets at a bulge-bracket investment bank
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with order management systems
• Experience with VBA/Phyton programming is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Successful trade balance with a portable strategy for P&L generation
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take on responsibility
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Dedicated, focused, self-motivated, works well in a challenging environment
• Fluent in English; fluent in German is a plus
