Fixed Income Specialist
The Fixed Income Specialist is responsible for the preparation of recommendation lists for bonds and structured products and is expected to increase sales through regular investment meetings and proactive communication of investment strategies. The specialist will also build and maintain close relationships with internal and external partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Preparation of recommendation lists for North Asian bonds and selection of global bonds for the firm's Client Relationship Officers (CROs) and clients.
- Achieving local sales ambitions for bonds and structured products (fixed-income products).
- Participate in regular investment meetings and proactively present bond and bond derivative ideas to increase sales.
- Update on market developments, new investment products and other areas that may affect bond market performance.
- Consideration of the economic impact of news and global factors on the performance of companies in the research universe.
- Making informed recommendations to Client Relationship Officers, private clients and investment advisors, including updating all stakeholders on investment strategies.
- Advice on the construction of bond-related portfolios for implementation in client portfolios.
- Ensuring that recommendations comply with compliance regulations.
- Updating the team on new market trends and developments in bond-related investment products.
- Interaction and effective management of relationships with various internal and external counterparties.
- Facilitate the implementation of new product launches or removals, including the handling of operational logistics, documentation and promotion.
- Communicate new product launches and train frontline staff as required.
- Assist in the management of bond authorization lists for regional use, including regular monitoring and review.
- Processing fixed-income projects for the company as required.
- Training and guidance of junior employees in fixed income matters.
- Fulfillment of other tasks assigned by the Head of Products.
Qualification requirements
- University degree with professional qualifications such as CFA or CPWP preferred.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Preferred skills
- Background in fixed income/market analysis and ability to support investment strategy recommendations.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Communication skills (interpersonal skills and ability to present proprietary and secondary research).
