Job description: Fixed Income Trader / Portfolio Manager
Tasks
- Implementation and execution of the CIO's investment strategy through independent investment decisions in all currencies.
- Participation in the company's trading activities with the aim of generating revenue and optimizing returns.
- Management and monitoring of the bank's proprietary risk book, including reviewing and reconciling positions in all relevant trading systems.
- Supporting the CIO in defining the strategic investment direction and providing tactical support for investment activities.
- Management of credit and interest rate risks within the approved portfolio mandate.
- Monitoring and optimization of cash balances in all currencies.
- Proactive assessment, quantification, and optimization of positions, sensitivities, and limits in various trading and banking books.
- Development, maintenance, and monitoring of analytical tools for evaluating market trends and performance.
- Managing the company's matched principal trading business, including maintaining and expanding customer relationships.
- Conducting due diligence and annual KYC checks for professional counterparties in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Active participation in departmental projects for process automation and efficiency improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience in fixed income portfolio management, bond trading, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: fixed income, trading, sales, portfolio management, investment management, treasury, asset liability management.
- Experience in credit analysis of issuers.
- Team player who does not crack under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
