Job Title: Flow Rates Middle Office - Head of EMEA (Vice President)Tasks
The EMEA Flow Rates Middle Office team is responsible for monitoring at the trading and portfolio level to ensure the accuracy and completeness of trading P&L and the smooth running of the daily trading environment. The main objectives are:- Operational excellence: Consistent, high-quality support for the business with minimal operational risk incidents and consistently positive feedback from stakeholders
- Team Leadership & Development: Successful leadership, mentoring, and development of team leaders to build a high-performance organization that supports business growth and regulatory requirements
- Business Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with Flow Rates and BFRM trading venues to become a trusted operational partner and primary point of contact.
- Control Environment Enhancement: Operating and improving robust control and governance structures to ensure compliance with regulations and minimize operational risks
- Industry knowledge and focus: Staying up to date with industry trends, including technological and regulatory improvements, and building strong relationships with suppliers and financial market intermediaries
Requirements
Required experience:- Experience in the financial services industry with significant exposure to derivatives operations
- Proven success in managing large, complex teams in a middle office or operations environment
- Extensive practical experience in managing flow rate derivative operations and associated workflows
- Deep knowledge of market platforms, including Markit, IHS Markit, LCH SwapClear, Swaption, Agile, and Quantite
- Proven expertise in portfolio compression operations and related risk management processes
- Excellent leadership skills with proven success in developing and growing large teams
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members and future leaders
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple business areas
- Demonstrable ability to create change management initiatives and process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to succeed when presenting to senior management
- Cooperative approach with the ability to work effectively in global teams
