Forex Operations Specialist

Job description

As a Forex Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the bank's treasury department's Nostri positions, monitoring FX MM Fid and CLS activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational processes within the Forex Operations team. This role is critical to supporting our treasury management and maintaining operational excellence.

Main tasks

• Process incoming communications, including emails, SWIFT messages, SIC, and related channels
• Manage and reconcile Nostri positions for effective cash management
• Maintain standard settlement instructions (SSI)
• Monitor FX-MM-Fid and CLS processes (GTMatch, GTExchange)
• Monitor and manage cash pending transactions
• Manage Relationship Management Application (RMA)
• Perform checks and monitor SWIFT message queues, including processing SWIFT rejections (GTExchange)

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a back-office role, preferably in banking or financial services
• Solid knowledge of payment applications such as SWIFT and SIC
• Experience in payment transfers
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
