Forex Sales

Job Description

The Forex Sales and Execution Desks are part of the FX Trading & Sales Department, a global and fully centralized organization that covers the various needs of the foreign exchange market for the entire EFG Group. The 24/7 Forex network provides continuous service across all EFG offices, enabling EFG clients and EFG client relationship officers to participate fully in the global market.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Managing client transaction flow, obtaining price quotes from EFG FX traders
• Responding to customer questions and concerns about complex products
• Achieving personal and team-related goals, including quantitative and qualitative goals
• Managing and expanding complex client relationships through proactive pitching of daily client trading and market requirements
• Identifying, selling, and onboarding new client relationships for all FX products
• Full compliance with internal and external guidelines and application of the FX Global Code of Conduct guidelines
• Using data and analytics to create value and deepen client relationships
• Developing and maintaining expertise on EFG products and services
• Identifying and implementing business expansion opportunities within the existing client base
• Collaborate with other EFG business units to promote and support cross-selling opportunities
• Stay up to date on financial markets and news, identify new opportunities, and build credibility with customers.

Requirements

The requirements include:

• 10 years of experience in private banking or global markets
• University degree in finance or similar, or Swiss high school diploma and experience in a similar role
• Quick learner and ability to work under pressure
• Written and oral communication skills in English
• French or German are considered a plus.
• Communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented personality
