Julius Baer is seeking an experienced Front Arena Developer & Platform Specialist (100%) in Zurich with at least 8 years of experience in Python, AEL, and APS for the development and maintenance of trading systems. The position is advertised as a fixed-term contract through September 2027 with an external payroll partner.

- Front Arena Developer & Platform Specialist 100% (f/m/d)
- Contract for an external payroll partner, effective immediately through September 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension
- Location: Zurich
- Workload: Full-time
Tasks
- Management of development and maintenance activities for Front Arena landscapes
- Market and Front Office Middle Office Support for Trading Systems
Requirements
- Comprehensive expertise and extensive experience in maintenance and configuration (required)
- Proven expertise in performance and stability tuning across Front Arena environments (ADS, APS, AMBA, etc. is a plus)
- At least 8 years of experience as a Front Arena developer in Python, AEL, ACM, ADF...
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Python, AEL, APS, AMBA, XMB A, TAB, APH, TAPS, and MS-SQL (required)
- Expertise in Structured Products (Issuance, Trading, and Lifecycle)
- Experience working directly with traders at a trading venue
- Background in science, technology, or engineering
- Strong, clear communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure
- An empathetic person with excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- An enthusiastic team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- English: Good knowledge (B1/2)
