Front Business Manager, Central & Eastern Europe (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Front Business Manager for Central and Eastern Europe to support the Market Head in strategic and operational tasks and to take on a wide range of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial products, knowledge of Swiss banking practices, and strong analytical skills.

Job description

The Front Business Manager for Central & Eastern Europe supports the Market Head at both the strategic and operational levels. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of responsibilities, including analyzing key performance indicators, managing sales and strategic initiatives and projects, as well as carrying out day-to-day tasks and supporting Group Heads and Relationship Managers.

Tasks

  • Support financial reporting for the market in close collaboration with the regional finance department, including business and data analysis
  • Coordinating the implementation of projects and initiatives, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Direct support from Market Heads, Group Heads, and Relationship Managers
  • Proactive and independent management of routine and ad hoc business management activities and administrative tasks, with a focus on accountability and tracking
  • Preparing presentations and status updates for senior management
  • Assume backup responsibilities for broader business management tasks as needed to ensure continuity during absences or periods of high pressure
  • Collaborating and coordinating with various stakeholders within the bank to represent the interests of the market
  • Support in organizing and conducting internal events and communications within the business unit

Requirements

  • A proven interest in and experience with financial products, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for private banking services
  • Solid understanding of Swiss banking practices and front-office workflows
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP systems is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
