Front KYC Advisory Specialist

Tasks

• Handle administrative tasks related to the creation of comprehensive KYC files and questionnaires for customer acquisition, periodic reviews, and ad hoc reports
• Evaluate KYC and EDD responses from customers, qualified beneficial owners, and intermediaries
• Verify customer structure (individuals, businesses, trusts, foundations) and document completeness in accordance with established guidelines
• Ensure compliance with the KYC-QFC process and internal quality or compliance standards before approving the workflow
• Conduct periodic quality checks on a monthly sample of 10% of the cases
• Work with the MQA team to provide support for compliance and SWIFT alerts
• Escalate any outstanding local, national, or international sensitive QxC compliance or external customer KYC issues
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing with the onboarding and KYC team
• Communicating appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards regarding: financial and reputational risk, the use of credit reports, the disclosure of customer financial data, the management of conflicts of interest, comprehensive and continuous improvement, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

• A college degree or equivalent education in banking and/or finance
• At least 5 years of professional experience in KYC/EDD, AML, compliance, and financial crime investigations, including in-depth risk assessment or AML investigations
• A solid understanding of the global financial landscape and the state of financial crime
• Solid technical expertise in KYC assessment, SWIFT/OFAC monitoring, and financial crime compliance standards
• Strong social skills, with the ability to seek out and foster collaboration and trust
