Front Office Operations Analyst

The position of Front Office Operations Analyst is part of the IDI team, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of AHL's front-office investment operations.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of AHL's systematic trading systems and models
• Diagnosing and Solving Problems
• Day-to-day management of front-office operations, including the maintenance and cleaning of critical data for AHL's systematic trading algorithms and quantitative research teams
• Collaborate with colleagues and technical teams on projects to improve operational efficiency and scale the platform infrastructure
• Using technologies such as Gen AI, Python, and SQL to improve, automate, and streamline core investment management processes
• Design and support of the architecture for AHL's trading environment, including data aggregation, position management, and component monitoring

Requirements

Required skills and characteristics:

• Ability to manage multiple work streams and competing priorities simultaneously
• Sound judgment, keen attention to detail, and accuracy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and similar languages
• Interest in Financial Markets
• Excellent knowledge of Python and the ability to use programming languages for data manipulation and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and a highly cooperative personality
• An analytical approach to problem-solving designed to tackle complex problems and enable timely solutions

Preferred Skills and Qualities:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an operations role in the investment management, hedge fund, or financial services industry
• Experience in managing or playing a key role in the implementation of complex projects
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
