Frontend Developer

Tasks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.
• Development and maintenance of front-end applications with React, Typescript, and Node.js.
• Integration of various financial systems and third-party services to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues across the entire stack, with support for development and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Active participation and support of the Program Increment (PI) planning process within GPS.
• Support for change management and release rollout planning.
• Provision of dedicated post-implementation support locally in Asia.

Professional and technical requirements

• Experience in the financial industry.
• Practical experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (React/JS) and technologies (Typescript).
• Basic understanding of Unix operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Good code review skills and pride in code quality.
• Strong team player.
• Able to work independently and take on projects.
• Able to work in an agile environment.
• Ready to work in a global team with members in Singapore and Switzerland.
