Frontend Developer

Job description

12-month contract - Front-end developer (via an external agency payroll provider)

Tasks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code in compliance with industry standards, including code reviews, testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Troubleshooting and support: Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues across the entire stack, support for development and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Active participation and support of the Program Increment (PI) planning process within GPS.
• Support with change management and release rollout planning.
• Provision of dedicated post-implementation support on site in Asia.
• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair dealing (fair treatment of customers), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Professional

• Professional experience in the financial sector.
• Professional experience: JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS) and technologies (Typescript).
• Basic knowledge of the Unix operating system and bash scripting.
• Good code review skills and pride in code quality.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to work independently and take on projects.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
• Willingness to work in a global team that has members in Singapore and Switzerland.
