Frontend Developer

General description

We are looking for a front-end developer to maintain our current trading platform and have the opportunity to improve and create new libraries and frameworks on which our trading platform is based.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Design and development: working with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement high quality software solutions for our financial products and services.
• Frontend development: Development and maintenance of frontend applications with React, Typescript and Node.js.
• System integration: Integration of different financial systems and third-party services to ensure a smooth data flow and interoperability.
• Code quality and best practices: Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code while adhering to industry standards, including code reviews, testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Troubleshooting and support: Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues across the stack, support for development and production environments.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Change Management: Actively participate and support the Program Increment (PI) planning process within GPS, support change management and release rollout planning, provide dedicated post implementation support on site in Asia.

Professional and technical requirements

• Experience in the financial sector.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (React/JS) and technologies (Typescript).
• Basic knowledge of the Unix operating system and bash scripting.
• Good code review skills and pride in code quality.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to work independently and take on projects.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
• Willingness to work in a global team with members in Singapore and Switzerland.

We offer

• 12-month contract as a front-end developer (via an external agency payroll provider).
• Approx. 6,506 $.
