Frontend Developer

General description

We are looking for a front-end developer to maintain our current trading platform and have the opportunity to improve and create new libraries and frameworks on which our trading platform is based.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Design and development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions for our financial products and services.
• Front-end development: Development and maintenance of front-end applications with React, Typescript, and Node.js.
• System integration: Integration of various financial systems and third-party services to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability.
• Code quality and best practices: Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with industry best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Troubleshooting and support: Diagnosis and resolution of technical issues across the entire stack, including support for development and production environments.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Change management: Active participation and support of the Program Increment (PI) planning process within GPS, support of change management and release rollout planning, and provision of dedicated post-implementation support locally in Asia.

Professional and technical requirements

• Experience in the financial industry.
• Professional hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (React/JS) and technologies (Typescript).
• Basic understanding of Unix operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Good code review skills and pride in code quality.
• Strong team player.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Able to work in an agile environment.
• Ready to work in a global team with members in Singapore and Switzerland.
