For the position of Frontend Engineer (React/Angular/Typescript) at Julius Baer in Madrid, we are looking for a candidate who can work in cross-functional teams and develop high-quality frontend code. The candidate should have experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript and be familiar with DevOps practices and agile methodologies.

Tasks
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile methods within a DevOps-centric architecture vision.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure front-end solutions align with Julius Baer's overall architectural vision.
- Actively contribute to our software engineering communities, share expertise and support colleagues.
- Delivery of high quality, maintainable and scalable front-end code that complies with Julius Baer guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- Pragmatic, proactive and open-minded with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven experience as a frontend engineer with a focus on React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of frontend architectures, responsive design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with TDD, BDD and automated test frameworks (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
- Willingness to adopt new technologies and support Julius Baer's digital transformation.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
