Sygnnum is looking for a Frontend Tech Lead in Zurich to lead a team in the development of secure Web3 solutions and to take on technical and managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate has expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and NestJS, as well as experience in an agile environment.

About the role
- Lead a team of software engineers to develop and take ownership of state-of-the-art Web3 solutions (front-end and back-end)
- Continuously improve the quality and security of the applications
- Collaborate with Design to improve our client-centric products
- Contribute to writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code that is backed by tests
- Work with SRE engineers and software architects to improve the availability, resilience, and observability of the applications
- Coach and mentor the software engineers on the team
- Improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to plan new features and improvements
- Conduct thorough retro and post-mortem sessions that help the team learn from mistakes
- Promote a psychologically safe environment where everyone feels they can contribute and make suggestions
Our ideal candidate
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Nest.js
- Designing reusable and extensible components for multiple projects
- Experience and references as a front-end engineer in complex environments
- Understanding UI & UX to Create the Best User Experience
- Knowledge of data preparation, API-first, and concept isolation
- Understanding the development lifecycle and its technologies—Git, CI/CD tools, unit testing, vulnerability testing, monitoring, continuous automated testing, and deployment
- Expertise in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Eager to work with FE and BE
- Enjoy doing both: technical and people leadership work
- Collaborative and growth mindset
- Prioritize quality and security and incorporate these aspects into the software development lifecycle
- Comfortable taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from designing solutions to running the application in production
- Be proactive and get motivated by new opportunities and challenges
