Manager for Forward Deployed Engineering Capability (AI Team)

LGT is seeking an experienced leader to lead and further develop the Forward Deployed Engineering Capability within its growing AI team. In this role, the leader will be responsible for developing and implementing digital AI solutions in close collaboration with senior stakeholders and support functions.

Your area of responsibility

LGT is seeking an experienced leader who will embody and further develop the Forward Deployed Engineering Capability within the growing AI team. In this role, you will shape the work of LGT’s existing deployed engineers and define scalable, digital AI solutions through close collaboration via proactive interfaces. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders in the business units and support functions to identify priority workflows, pain points, and opportunities where AI solutions can add value
  • Further development of a portfolio of AI use cases throughout their entire lifecycle—from prioritization and scoping through prototyping, implementation, and rollout to continuous optimization
  • Ensuring that AI agents and AI-powered workflows contribute to real-world business processes, enterprise architecture, and IT infrastructure, and meet the established requirements
  • Establishing clear mechanisms for measuring adoption, performance, and business impact, as well as for ongoing optimization in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders

Your profile

  • A solid understanding of modern AI systems and agile workflows, as well as experience in translating business requirements into practical technology solutions for complex enterprise environments
  • A strong understanding of the requirements of a regulated environment, ideally combined with experience in the financial services sector
  • Excellent command of English and German; knowledge of other languages relevant to LGT locations is a plus
