Full Stack Data Warehouse & Reporting Engineer

Job description

Your tasks

• Design, development, and optimization of interactive Power BI dashboards (including data modeling and performance tuning)
• Advising departments on self-service BI, KPI definition, data strategies, and best practices
• Contribute to the strategy and development of a modern, Azure-based data warehouse architecture
• Development and implementation of ETL/ELT processes (Azure Data Factory, SQL, Data Vault)
• Setting up automated tests for data pipelines and reports, and ensuring high data quality
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating development and data processes
• Assuming responsibility for operations, requirements gathering, and continuous development of reporting

Our requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of SQL, ideally experience with Microsoft Azure Services (including Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Experience in reporting and business intelligence with a focus on Power BI (DAX, Power Query) required
• Knowledge of Data Factory, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Azure DevOps
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling (Data Vault and Kimball)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and automated testing
• Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and in-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes
• Very good knowledge of German
